In this month's newsletter, the MiraclesOne Staff shares on
the topic of "Anxiety and Depression." This is also
the topic for our next Tele-Conference Study starting the
first week in September. If you feel you would like to work
with one of our staff on an individual basis on this topic,
know that we are available to do so as well.
Our next ACIM Class in our Certification/Ministerial Program
is our Workbook for Students Class, which begins in a few
weeks! The students are excited to embark upon their
journey. The next Workbook for Students Class will
not begin until April 2010. If you are intending to apply to
our Certification/Ministerial Programs for 2010, you still
will need to complete a prerequisite class. You may even
enjoy completing more than one. Many of our incoming
students do as they realize the benefit of studying with others
in group or one-on-one sessions.
On August 1st, we started producing an audio and video
version of our ACIM Quote of the Day. You can

Join with Me today. Accept your Identity in the One. I have
blessed your sleeping eyes with a Light more radiant than
you could imagine. Feel it now upon you. This Light will not
blind you for it will only heal you. Turn to the Light. Do
not be afraid. Accept Who you are. You are as I created you
to be. Holy, holy, holy are you. Breeze past the insane
whispers of the ego calling to tell you of its gifts of
pain, loss and despair. All disguised in your sight. I
placed the call to Joy within you, listen to its glad
refrain and it will carry you. I presented the gift of
Forgiveness to you and it will help you see all things
unseeable, hear all things inaudible, and experience so much
more than the body's senses permit you to experience.
At times you feel the chains of anxiousness upon you as you
wake in the morning. Anxiety is simply fear, fear that is
about a future not even here based upon your past ideas.
Sometimes this anxiety for you takes the form of feeling
overwhelmed, or feeling that there is just not enough time
to rest and to work, or even in areas of scarcity and lack,
or in areas of bodily aches and pains. All to fetter you to
this insane world. Lay down these attachments that you have
to the world of form and time. You will benefit greatly by
trusting in Eternity and formless Love. These are Who you
are. They are your attributes just as they are Mine. Wake up
to a new world, My World, Heaven. Place all your gifts (your
fear thoughts) upon the altar of Forgiveness, and accept the
greatest gift in return, My Peace. Peace I give to you, my
dear One. You are free. You are saved. It is already done
because you are loved.

Cloak of Darkness

Let us remember that the part of the body
that can be shocked and surprised with fear is not who you
really are. The part of the body that seems to feel the
discomfort of headaches or migraines is not a part of you.
In fact, the whole body that you have identified with is not
the real you. The body is like a cloak of darkness that you
have surrounded yourself with. This darkness can experience
fear, pain, worry, anxiety, sadness, death and depression.

Anxiety and depression have been my constant companions
until I realized that I was anxious and depressed because I
kept seeking for what I desperately wanted and I realized I
was seeking for these things in the wrong place and then I
became depressed because I thought something was desperately
wrong with me because I could never find what I was seeking
for. Initially I blamed God; why did He make me so
defective; why couldn't I find love, joy and peace; everyone
else seemed to have it but me. This is what I thought. And
then Miracles of all miracles; I started working with A
Course in Miracles and found that whatever I was seeking
was inside of me all along. I was just desperately searching
for these things in the wrong places.
