FOLLOWING
GUIDANCE
Rev. Deb Phelps
To follow one’s Inner Wisdom is the
most important aspect of our spirituality that we can strengthen. We have the
Divine Power within us, it is choosing to ask for the Guidance, be willing to
receive, see the peace and consistency that flows from it, and stand our ground
in our Guidance that is received.
Recently I received a communication from someone who was insisting what my
guidance SHOULD be rather than what it actually WAS in a certain situation that
I was dealing with. This situation was in relation to the person who
corresponded with me. This person was rather upset that I would not change my
mind from the Insight that I had received. The upset was that I was following my
Guidance and not theirs. I had explained it in my response to the communication.
I can see that it is easy to get caught up in the ego and the ego’s reactions.
It is just as easy to be caught up in a severe attachment to the outcome,
including trying to control another by subtle manipulation. Isn’t that the ego’s
realm? Expectations bring out the best of those hidden resentments.

DO
I WANT TO BE ATTACKED OR BLESSED?
Rev. Linda Wisniewski
revlinda@miraclesone.org
What I see outside of myself, I am
learning is a projection of my thoughts. If I think attack thoughts, I will feel
attacked. If I see my brother as holy, he will respond to me in a holy way. ACIM
says there is no one out there but our projections. I see my brothers as my
teachers who give me a clue of what thoughts I am thinking based on how they
respond to me.
For example: My supervisor came on a home visit with me and during the visit I
noticed how angry I was becoming at her thinking she was taking over the visit
and wouldn’t allow me or the mom to talk. By the time I left the visit, I was
feeling so much rage. Interesting that in the car, she accused me of doing all
the talking and not allowing the mom to talk. I laughed to myself; was this an
example of my projection or what? The next day, I was still carrying the rage
and I took it to Holy Spirit who told me to bless her. Before, I went to work, I
kept sending blessings. She and I were in the office alone; we didn’t say much
to each other; I knew she was busy trying to get her work done before she went
on vacation; so while focusing on my work, I would turn toward her and continue
to send blessings. Right before she left; she came over to me and hugged me and
told me to have a good week. I almost fell on the floor; what a change. And this
is a supervisor who is not a hugger and is very careful not to “cross the line”
between what she thinks is “professional” vs. “personal” behavior. But the
change came in my mind; I went from holding attack thoughts in my mind which...
